This project was for my US History class. MY friends and I had to make a voting barriers video based mainly on the Elk vs Wilkins Act and the Florida's Voting Rights Act for Felines Initiative . The cool thing about this project that it was for a competition against students all around the US with a chance to win some money. I enjoyed this project because it gave us more time to hangout and I learned a few new tricks in editing videos.
Information Skills Students will apply relevant computer and handheld technology across the curriculum, and they will integrate new technologies. Students will also read and understand a wide range of literary and informational text for a variety of purposes, and they will apply a variety of appropriate research methods across the curriculum. Civic Literacy and Engagement Students will demonstrate an understanding of and the ability to analyze and participate in government and in community, both locally and globally, in order to shape the circumstances that impact their daily lives and the lives of others. |
I feel that in this assignment the most used 21st Century Skills used were Information and Civic Literacy and Engagement Skills. Before making a skit for the video we had to look up information on the cases we chose that were best to talk about. And we were also dealing with cases involving rights. |
